Fiery Cauldron Goblet

Goblets were thrown in 2 parts, then sculpted together. The flames on this goblet were painted with underglaze. Then the bottom of the flames are coated in clear gloss, the tips of the flames are coated in a shino matte giving them a bit of a flicker as they move up the goblet. The cauldron is layered in several colors and coats of underglaze creating a colorful cast iron, then brushed with a mother of pearl for an extra glow of heat. Goblet is food safe.
